UKはMinistry of Soundの「Masterpiece」シリーズ第2弾に、なんとあのSoul II SoulのJazzie Bが登場。コレがまた素晴らしい作品なのでご紹介です。
Masterpieceシリーズ第1弾の Francois K
の作品と同様に、3枚組のミックス作品。以前、ご紹介した『Jazzie B Presents Soul II Soul At The Africa Centre』が80年代当時のライヴを再現した作品でしたが、本作は「Pre Africa Centre」,「Africa Centre / Rare Groove」,「Africa Centre / Fridge」の3部構成となっており、ミックスを通してJazzie B(Soul II Soul)が歩み、築き上げてきた歴史が見事にサウンドとして表現されています。
本作もクラブミュージック史において、歴史的価値のある素晴らしい作品。正しくMasterpieceです。必聴盤。
